Amazing service!!! Our TV had a picture but no sound, we asked for help and brought a second remote to try to fix it. When that didn't work, he went to another room and brought another TV. When that TV didn't work, he insisted and said he had one more room he could grab a TV from another room. It worked! Friendly, amazing service. The room is nice and quiet, and it has everything you need. Tea, coffee, Coffee mate and soap just bring your own shampoo. Easy to find.
A complete surprise - such a well-renovated little motel. Good value for the money. John is a wonderful owner, proprietor. The kitchenette is pretty fully kitted out with dishes, cutlery and pots and pans; fridge, stove, microwave and toaster. Sink even had dish soap and a drain tray. Would absolutely stay here again.
The room was clean, well equipped and quiet. John was warm and welcoming. The beds are comfortable and in walking distance to restaurants, grocery store, etc. Amenities in the gazebo: Air fryer, Pizza oven, Coleman BBQ & PittBoss grill with comfortable chairs and tables. Highly recommend staying here on your visit to Oliver.
We had a great experience at Mount View Motel. The owner, John, was friendly and helpful. He was understanding when we had to change our reservation by one day. The rooms are clean and have great toiletries, coffee, tea, etc. great value! We would stay again.
This was a great little motel. It was very clean. The sheets smelled so lovely and clean The water pressure was steady and was very quiet despite being just off the main road. And you can't beat the price at $87 taxes in. And looks to be fairly newly renovated, very comfortable, bed even a lovely little kitchen lots of hat water thanks for a great nights sleep
A pleasant surprise! Never know what is in store when we stay at budget friendly motels, and this place was definitely a pleasant surprise! Fresh, clean ,updated with care and renovated really nicely. Had a well stocked kitchen with dishes ,cooking utensils, toaster, kettle, microwave, full stove and apt size fridge with good sized freezer. Bed was very comfortable and bedding was spotless and high quality. Definitely the nicest little motel we have stayed at for that price. John, the owner was friendly and welcoming. You can tell he cares about his motel. Definitely would come back here and would recommend it! Thanks John for a relaxing stay! See you next time.
Can't say enough , this was my go to place for quite a few years when in Oliver ...do not hesitate to stay at this budget friendly spot ....rooms are completely spotless...and very well renovated ....new owner has obviously dropped a ton of money on this place ..... easily the best "motel" I've ever stayed in....big props to the new owner ...great job!
unfortunately we had to cancel our room a day before our booking due to a medical emergency! I didn't get his name, but the person i left a voicemail with was so understanding and compassionate he was able to help us. When we can make it up to Oliver, this will be our choice to stay EVERY time!! I thought customer service was dead but the Mount View Hotel renewed my faith.
